The cost: $105 Million
Last week demolition of the Roberson Stadium began and now we are getting a look at what the new UH stadium will look like.
Priced at $105 million dollars, the facility will have 40,000 seats with capability of expanding to 60,000. Action at the stadium will be contested on a state of the art synthetic turf field that will allow for a multitude of events.
Houston fans should also be pleased because the stadium will have a 12,400 square foot club overlooking the field. 26 suites will also stretch from end zone to end zone.
The stadium is slated to open in 2014.
