HEB and others will serve 7,600 meals to the needy
It’s been an HEB tradition for the past seven years and once again ‘The Feast of Sharing’ has arrived. The grocery chain joins with several organizations to help the needy for the event.
The meals will be served Friday, December 14 at several locations across the area including, Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston, Spring Assistance Ministries, and Fort Bend Co. Women’s shelter.
Cindy Garza is a spokesman for HEB and says, “We actually don’t need anymore volunteers this year, Houston always responds with support. “
In addition, other social services will also be offered to those in need. Currently all spots for the Feast of Sharing have been filled.
