Argument turns deadly, police believe victim shot near home
Police are searching for the gunman who killed a man in East Houston. Investigators say a truck pulled up to a home on Joliet and Uvalde about 9:00 p.m. Friday when the driver and a passenger began arguing.
The driver got out of the truck and opened the passenger door. The passenger pulled a gun, shot the driver and fled the scene. Police believe the victim lived nearby.
The cause of the shooting is under investigation.
