Four new penguins hatched in last 10 days

The stork has been working over-time at Moody Gardens.

The attraction has hatched its fourth penguin in 10 days.  Assistant Curator Diane Olsen says, "We are starting to have a very successful breeding season."

In all, Moody Gardens now has over 90 penguins as part of their exhibit.  Olsen says the additions are not over yet, "We're expecting more chicks to hatch in the next couple of weeks, and our Kings will start hatching in January...."

Moody Gardens in Galveston also has a penguin-cam, you can watch it here live!
