Christmas display turns heads in the Heights
Who said Christmas had to be serious? Heights resident Rene Daigre says his duck huntin' Santa this year is a reflection of himself, as were his past 15 holiday displays.

"We've had him wakeboarding, we've had Santa tuna fishing, we've had him water skiing," Daigre told KTRH News.
At a time when many Christmas displays come under attack, Daigre points out this is Santa, not baby Jesus.
"This is just meant to be fun, not religious," he says. "That's up to them to fight, it's not my battle."
Besides, he asks 'what about all those Black Friday ads?'
Just driving around Daigre's neighborhood near Travis Elementary School, we also found Santa riding in a rocket, an apparent nod to Space City, USA.
