Police are unsure where a woman was actually shot, but she was found at a local nursery.
Pasadena police said the woman was found shot in a car outside Houston Garden Centers on Beltway 8 near Vista Tuesday morning. The victim was taken to a hospital, where she later died. She was identified as 58-year-old Yolanda Aguilar.
Investigators said the shooter and the victim are related. They also have reason to believe drugs may have been involved.
The woman and her 2-year-old child were also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, police said. They were not hurt.
Investigators said two people were inside the vehicle from which the shots were fired. It is a gray 1999 Jeep Cherokee with Texas license plate No. CT3X744.
