Penalty kick leads to victory; Beckham leaves MLS with 2nd title
The Houston Dynamo came up short Saturday as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated them 3 -1 in the MLS Cup Championship game.
Landon Donovan scored the tiebreaking goal on a penalty kick in the 65th minute, and David Beckham left MLS as a two-time champion with the Galaxy’s victory over the Dynamo.
