Make sure to show up and socialize
It's company Christmas party season and experts say the party can work for you or against you.
Employment expert Rick Cobb says the company Christmas party is a great place to be seen but a terrible place to make a scene. Cobb says the party should be a place to converse positively and interface with people higher up in the company structure.
There are some things you don't want to do, like skipping the party, going to the party but not socializing, and endulging in too much food or alcohol.
Rick Cobb advises employers to not just throw the party, but also find ways to show their appreciation and recognize people individually.
