Poop earrings, bacon shaving cream
Stumped on buying a holiday gift this year? How about a self-stirring coffee mug, reindeer poop earrings or farting Santa pillow?
Don't forget the LED shoe laces, 6-pack beer belt or screaming slingshot monkey.
Justin Esch of J&D's Foods first brought us bacon-flavored soda, and this holiday season he's offering bacon-scented shaving cream -- barber approved.
"First everyone just laughed and said wow this is crazy and silly," Esch told KTRH News. "And then once they used it, they came to this consensus that it really is this high-quality boutique shaving cream that smells like bacon, and leaves you smelling like bacon."
It's probably not a good gift idea for veterinarians or zoo keepers though.
"I think it might be problematic," says Esch. "I'm sure we'll make a lot of dogs and cats go crazy."
Houston's Wendy Hale is behind a fun jewelry line called Mochi Mochi. She admits bacon is quite popular.
"I've actually had people ask me to do bacon earrings and stuff," says Hale.
Bacon aside, Hale’s most popular item is a rainbow cupcake necklace, but it's much higher quality than the previously mentioned stuff.
"Everything I make from polymer is handmade," she says. "I don't buy any pre-made charms, everything is handmade and hand painted."
