Suspicious package found at his home
A Houston city councilman had a rude awakening when a suspicious package was found at his front door.
Councilman Al Hoang of District F found what he initially thought was a bag of trash Tuesday morning. It turned out to be a potenially dangerous device. HPD and the bomb squad were called in to handle the situation.
Hoang says, police found a note inside the bag that threatened to kill him and his family. Hoang says, he suspects those who are reponsible but he is not commenting. Adding, he will let the police do their investigation.
Councilman Al Hoang says he will not stop his work as an elected official and will continue representing District F.
