Texas-Built Super Car Unveiled

Will have 1,500 HP and a top speed of 287 mph

Legendary super car maker John Hennessey has unveiled plans for his next creation, a car with 1,500 horse-power.

The new Venom GT2, to be built by the Sealy, Texas based Hennessey Performance will be have a reported top speed of 287-mph! KTRH's Car Pro Show host Jerry Reynolds says the first Venom GT was a fast car but this car will blow it away.

The new Venom GT2 has a sticker price of $1.25 million making it one of the most expensive cars in production. The top speed of 287-mph would also make it the fastest production car on the planet.  The cars are scheduled to hit the market late next year.
