Police chase ends in crash, power outage
One person is in custody, a second is in the hospital, after leading police on a high speed chase through Northwest Harris County last night.
Officers tried to pull the suspected stolen vehicle over but the driver refused, eventually crashing into a utility pole near Glenburnie and the North Freeway. The crash knocked out power in the neighborhood.
The driver was taken to Ben Taub hospital in serious but stable condition. A passenger was arrested after a short foot chase.
