Over 3 million Texans will travel for Thanksgiving
Today is one of the busiest travel days of the year and if you are flying, be prepared for some headaches. More than three million Texans are travelling this holiday. Jared Blank with Online Travel Review told KTRH the biggest headache for flyers, is the crowds.
Blank says people have gotten used to crowds when travelling over the years but when you are flying with kids any crowd can cause problems. Blank says the easiest thing you can do to deal with the crowds, not surprisingly is to leave early. He says giving yourself extra time is essential for making you flight.
With gas prices holding steady, AAA Texas says automobile travel is expected to increase for the first time in a while. AAA Texas expects the number of people travelling by car to increase almost 2%.
