"Grandpa Bandit" Wanted By FBI

$5,000.00 reward for information leading to arrest

The Houston FBI is looking for a robber known as the “Grandpa Bandit." Just before noon Saturday, the man walked into JP Morgan Chase Bank at 1102 Silber Road in Houston and handed the teller a note demanding money.

Officials said when the teller didn't give him money; he appeared nervous and left the bank quickly. The robber drove off in a maroon 1994 Dodge four-door vehicle, license plate number 160-TWN.  No one was injured.

He’s described as a white male, in his sixties, about 6’0” tall with a medium build, short graying hair with a gray beard.   If you have information call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
