You've probably seen ads online promising you'll earn money in the comfort of your home. Are they scams or can you really make money with your home computer?
The short answer is no.
"On the Internet if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true!"
University of Houston business Professor Dennis Adams says there are some legitimate online jobs out there.
"Amazon has something called Mechanical Turk or MTurk. That's a real life way to make small amounts of money."
The bad news is it's for very small amounts of money; maybe 50 cents an hour. Professor Adams says read the fine print before you try to earn money at home.
