More than a dozen homes have been hit in the Preston Place subdivision of Baytown in just over a week.
Police say one woman's home is the latest target in a string of burglaries for that area. In just a 25-minute window, investigators say the burglars broke in, took two TVs, a computer, a camera and lawn equipment.
Neighbors say they're starting to keep watch on the streets because of the high number of break-ins and slow police response.
