A Spring man loses his Mercedes to a gun-toting carjacker
A carjacking and high speed chase end with no injuries, and one person in custody.
The victim got the unexpected surprise while stopping for air at a gas station along Cypresswood.
"He comes up behind me, he says, 'hey turn around' and there's a gun in my face."
The victim - who did not want to be identified - says the suspect reached into his pocket and stole his keys. The car was spotted a short time later in a Woodlands shopping mall parking lot and a police chase exceeding 100-miles an hour ensued.
"Thankfully nobody was injured. That's always our greatest concern in pursuits like this."
Bryan Carlisle with the Shenandoah Police says the chase finally ended in Harris County with the suspect in custody; the car returned without a scratch on it.
