Beltway-8 is reopened after a massive fire
A tanker truck carrying 8,800 gallons of diesel fuel flipped over an exploded along Beltway-8 East feeder road near Highway 90 Friday afternoon. Hazmat crews, along with members of the Shelton Fire Department and the Harris County Fire Marshal responded to the flames.
The driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor burns, but there were no other injuries.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.
