Supporters of Texas Congressman Ron Paul Look to Future
Acknowledging defeat within their own party at the Republican National Convention, some Ron Paul supporters have returned to Maine and others plan to sit out Thursday's crowning events in Tampa, Florida.

But one of the activists says their work is not done yet. Matt McDonald of Belfast, Maine says the next priority is to build a state party by filling Republican committee posts across Maine with "liberty leaning individuals".
Those could include Maine GOP Governor Paul LePage, who was a delegate but stayed away from the convention after the Paul supporters were denied half of the 20 delegate seats they claim they won at the state convention.

LePage, who's expected to run for a second term in 2014, is vacationing in Florida, but not Tampa.
