Texas tourism officials got a shock recently when they were told ads purchased on Facebook appeared on a page aimed at pedophiles.
Catherine Frazier in the governor's office says they're investigating to confirm it's true.
"We contacted the advertising agency we work with and, I believe, within five minutes had all of our ads pulled so we could look into the situation."
Houston business law attorney Scott Raynes says the state's ability to get its money back isn't clear.
"This is advertising in the 21st Century here; it's not the same thing as putting up a billboard on the highway. You know where the billboard is; you know where the highway is."
Raynes says it'll come down to the terms of the contract Texas tourism has with Facebook.
