Smart Car "High-Speed" Chase
A tiny compact Smart Car lead law enforcement on a short high speed chase through parts of Houston Wednesday Morning. The odd chase drew onlookers and snickers from many as the tiny fuel efficient car zoomed past.
Texas cops tell KTRH that A DPS State Trooper tried to pull over the little black car on I-10 near Kirkwood shortly before noon, but the driver refused to stop.
Though speeds hit only around 70 MPH, troopers report that the tiny car sped to the North Loop, went northbound on 610, turned north on Ella and then into a residential area. Checkout the video courtesy of KTRH television partner Fox 26.

The odd chase ended a short time later when the suspect finally pulled into a driveway on Kinley and gave up.
DPS Troopers then took the young male suspect into custody.
