Man, Niece Found Dead of Suspected Overdose.

A man and his teenaged niece were found dead from what investigators suspect may be an overdose.

43-year-old Norman Armstrong and his 15-year-old niece were found dead in the bedroom of a home on Rose Mill Drive near Queens Glen Drive in Kingwood on Wednesday afternoon.

Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said Armstrong's sister found the bodies after she had not heard from him and he didn’t show up for work on Wednesday.

The bodies of the man and girl were found on a bed and both fully clothed, officials said.

Narcotics were also found in the home, detectives said. Relatives say Armstrong was acting unusual on Tuesday night.

Norman Armstrong Sr. said his son was dealing with alcohol addiction and was not really surprised to hear drugs might be involved. Neighbors also say Armstrong was acting strange the night before.

The name of the girl has not been released. Autopsies are set for Thursday. Tests will also be done to see exactly what the narcotics are.
