Johnny Manziel Charged with Fake ID and Fighting

It was most certainly a fumble early Friday morning for Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. He was arrested on charges of possessing a fake driver’s license, failure to identify himself and for fighting.

Manziel was reportedly arrested at 3:24 a.m. this morning by College Station police in the Northgate bar district. Manziel redshirted last season at A&M after starring at Kerrville Tivy High, where he a was Parade All-American.

The Aggies open their season on Aug. 30 against Louisiana Tech in Shreveport, La. Earlier this week, Sumlin announced that linebacker Steven Jenkins and safety Howard Matthews each had been suspended for an unspecified game for violation of team rules.
