SUV Crashes Into Building After Losing Control
A woman is sent to the hospital after she lost control of her SUV and fell from an HOV Lane into a building in West Houston Wednesday afternoon.
According to investigators the woman hit the barricade, went airborne of a ramp and a speeding driver on a high-occupancy vehicle lane lost control, went airborne off a ramp, flipped and crashed into a Texas Department of Transportation field office on Old Katy Road near the West Loop about 4:10 p.m.
The driver, a 34-year-old woman, was rushed to a hospital. Investigators say she was conscious and breathing. Her condition was not immediately available.
No one was inside the building.
