Investigators Test Driver For Drugs and Alcohol
A 14-year-old girl from Spring was fatally hit by a car on Monday afternoon.
Harris County sheriff's deputies received several calls about a person driving speeding in the area of Louetta and Kuykendahl about 2:30 p.m. Investigators said that erratic driver hit two people.
Deputies say the girl was walking with a friend who was riding a bicycle when they were both hit by the car. The friend was rushed to a hospital. He was listed in serious condition.
Detectives say the driver was tested to see if he was impaired at the time.
So far, no charges have been filed.
