Police: Suspects Used Assault Rifles
Houstonpolice are looking for the two men who used assault rifles when gunning down a man in front of his north Houston home Sunday morning.
The shooting happened in the 2400 block of Turner Drive and Edgeworth Street at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said two men ambushed Darwin Roberson while he was in his front yard, firing at least 13 rounds.
Witnesses tell police the two shooters and Roberson had previously argued about money.
Family members found Roberson lying in the driveway after hearing the gunshots.
Homicide detectives said the shooters were seen taking off in a getaway car. A accurate description of the vehicle could not be provided.
