An 18-wheeler caught fire after it was hit by a train in northeast Harris County.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said the big rig broke down on the railroad tracks about 11:45 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Ramsey Road and Crosby-Dayton Road. A Union Pacific train hit the cab of the 18-wheeler and pushed it several yards down the tracks.
The cab of the truck caught fire and went up in flames.
Deputies said the driver got out of the truck before it was hit. He was not hurt. The train engineer was also not injured.
