Family Witnesses Murder
A man’s young daughter and wife witness his death after he was robbed and shot by four young teenagers at a southwest Houston apartment complex Saturday night.
Harris County Sheriff's Homicide investigators said the murder happened at the Miramar Apartments near Bissonett and Synott as the family was just getting home from a night out. They were unpacking their vehicle in the parking lot around midnight when the four teens surrounded Victor Quevedo and demanded cash and cell phones. Deputies say the boys shot him and He died at the scene.
The suspects made off with just two cell phones and a purse with no money in it.
"The suspects are four Hispanic males that we know of," said Sgt. Phillipe Rivera. "We're doing the investigation trying to get some positive ID on the suspects."
Deputies said the four teenagers got away in a light brown car with heavily tinted windows.
