La Porte Woman Assaulted by Fake Service Technician.
La Porte police officers are looking for a man who posed as a service technician and assaulted a woman Thursday night.
The incident took place 6:30 pm at the victim's home on Sugar Creek Drive. Authorities said the man identified himself as an employee of a home security service, attempting to sell the victim an alarm system.
When the woman allowed the man in, he began touching her inappropriately. After asking him to leave twice the suspect finally left. He is described as a clean shaven Hispanic male in his 20's, 5 ‘8, with a medium build.
