Student Steals Car From School And Leads Police on a Chase.
A high school student from the Spring Branch Independent School District was rushed to a hospital after a police chase.
School police said a student stole a vehicle from Spring Woods High School.An officer witnessed the incident and chased the student out of the parking lot.
Investigators say that the student led the officer to Beltway 8 near Hammerly, where he crashed into a pole.The vehicle then rolled over and trapped the student inside.
The student was eventually cut from vehicle and taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
