Marijuana Grow House Found in Northwest Harris County.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office executed a Civil "Writ of Possession" to evict all occupants of a residence in the 11038 block of Ferndale Way in Northwest Harris County.

Upon entering the residence, Deputies found a large Marijuana growing operation throughout the house. The house appeared to be abandoned and no occupants were found inside the residence. A very sophisticated "grow house" with all rooms of the two story residence were filled with Marijuana plants of various sizes and maturity.

Deputies found 788 marijuana plants all growing in pots with large grow lights, watering systems along with filtering and air temperature control equipment in each room. The home and the equipment were powered by a direct connection to power lines, bypassing the meter system. The marijuana plants were seized along with a multitude grow lamps, power supplies, and sophisticated timer mechanisms. 

The estimated value of the marijuana was approximately $3,546,000.00 or approximately $4500.00 per plant.

No arrests have been made at this time; however the case is under further investigation by this department and other local and federal agencies.
