This Day In Sports History:

January 28th, 1990. The San Francisco 49ers defeat the Denver Broncos 55-10 to win their fourth championship; tying the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl victories. Under rookie head coach George Seifert the 49ers finished the season with a 14-2 record and were 12 points over the Broncos who were trying to avoid a record tying fourth Super Bowl loss. Super Bowl MVP Joe Montana threw for 297 yards and a Super Bowl record 5 touchdowns. The game remains the most lopsided game in Super Bowl history with records for most points scored by a single team and the largest margin of victory.

Buzzer Beater

Frantz Massenat hit one of the greatest game winning shots I've ever seen to help Drexel defeat Hofstra 55-52. Hofstra had just tied up the game at 52 a piece and it looked like the game was going to overtime. The players from Hofstra have nothing to hang their head about, they played it well. They trapped Massenat and forced him to juggle the ball, but he managed to get off the shot anyhow. Now, I think he traveled before releasing the ball, but still an incredible shot. Tough break for Hofstra.

 Fresh Prince

Loved this show when I was a kid, thought this video Google did was pretty funny.

 Child Of The 90's

I know they're pandering to us, but I still loved this commercial. I owned most of these things at one time and seeing the pogs, slap bracelets, and pump up shoes brought back some memories...and made me feel a little old.
