It's Freedom Over Texas with fireworks presented by Shell - a full day of unbeatable entertainment on three live-music stages and the largest land-based fireworks show in the nation!

The star-spangled event also salutes Houston's military heroes and observes the 40th anniversary of NASA's Apollo XI lunar landing.

This year's entertainment headliner is country music star Clay Walker, and you'll enjoy lots of special activities throughout the site. "Liberty Park" will showcase military artifacts and vehicles from all five military branches and more. Get up close and personal with Kevin Harvick's Shell-sponsored NASCAR racer, and take in the excitement of the Tire Change Challenge.

Children will enjoy free rides, games, face painting, jugglers and more in the Fiesta "All-American Kids Zone," while everyone can kick back and relax at the Budweiser Beer Garden, offering a prime view of the Fourth Annual Bud Light Texas Volleyball Championship.

And Gexa Energy will give away $1,000 in free power every hour . don't forget to enter for a chance to win.
