Over the weekend, a school janitor in South Dakota posted some photos on Facebook showing how one of his coworkers was storing the school's American flag . . . by crumpling it up and throwing it in the boiler room.
He was promptly FIRED. Defiling the flag CAN get you up to one year in jail in South Dakota. The custodian is a veteran and says getting fired was worth it to protect the flag.
