Houston's Morning News with Matt Patrick welcomes former CIA and NSA Director Gen. Michael Hayden to discuss how much the government shutdown critically affects national security. Hayden says "an awful lot of folks are NOT coming in to provide the eyes, ears and other senses of American intelligence in warning to American policy makers. Frankly, I'm shocked!" Hayden adds that NSA leaker Edward Snowden's reveal of the capabilities and the limits in the areas of terrorism and Al Qaeda have made dealings most urgent during the shutdown. What else is urgent at the moment and what's being neglected? The General discusses that here and perhaps tonight at the World Affairs Council meeting tonight in Houston. Don't miss these details!
