Americans Are Fleeing Big Cities For Small Towns

All across the country, Americans are leaving the big cities and heading out to the suburbs. Hundreds of thousands of people took part in the big city exodus in 2023 alone. So, what seems to be pushing people out of the urban centers?

Bill O'Reilly said on his show, "The O'Reilly Update," that it's not just COVID. He said, "It's fueled by anarchy in the streets, as the far left has succeeded in demonizing law enforcement." He says the defunding of police has led to crime rising and a collapse of the social order.

O'Reilly also says that this is going to cause a major problem for big cities like New York and Los Angeles, which are losing their populations the fastest. As the wealthiest taxpayers leave these cities, they're able to bring in less and less tax revenue.

O'Reilly says this will lead to these left-wing cities having to turn to federal aid to fund their failed policies. That means the tax dollars of hard-working Americans will wind up being used to cover the cost of the same liberal policies that pushed their citizens out.
