Radical Protestors Show Up Outside Of Jail After 2 Arrests At UH

After 2 students were arrested during an anti-Israel protest at UH, approximately 50 radical protestors showed up outside the Harris County Sheriff's Inmate Processing Center.

According to reports, the arrests stemmed from a pro-Palestine encampment created by a group of roughly 60 protestors at Butler Plaza on the UH campus last night.

Texas statutes prohibit tents and encampments on campus grounds, which led to UH police removing the structures surrounding the protest this morning. The arrests occurred while that was happening.

Media reports confirmed that one student was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

This is a developing story.
