Donald Trump's Manhattan trial is now entering its 10th day after a New York appeals court has denied Trump's effort to halt the trial. Trump had requested a stay of the proceedings while he appeals various pretrial rulings.

Among the pretrial decisions being appealed by Trump is Judge Juan Merchan's decision not to recuse himself. On Tuesday, a five-judge panel on a New York appellate court rejected Trump's appeals.

Trump has also deleted various posts on his Truth Social page that were ruled to be in violation of the gag order that Judge Merchan put on Trump before the trial. The deadline for the posts to be deleted was Tuesday at 2:15 pm EST. Merchan has already imposed a total fine of $9,000 for the posts.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton also joined Donald Trump at the trial Tuesday afternoon. Paxton joined a number of other Trump supporters, including Donald Trump's son Eric, in the gallery directly behind the defense table.
