Zero Tolerance: Governor Greg Abbott Blasts UT Anti-Israel Protestors

With an unauthorized, anti-Israel protest popping up at his alma mater, the University of Texas, Governor Greg Abbott fired off a fiery post on X that arrests will continue on campus until the crowd obeys and disperses.

"Arrests being made right now & will continue until the crowd disperses. These protesters belong in jail. Antisemitism will not be tolerated in Texas. Period. Students joining in hate-filled, antisemitic protests at any public college or university in Texas should be expelled" posted Abbott.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on Wednesday said it arrested more than 20 people at UT Austin.

“DPS will continue adjusting operations as needed in order to assist our law enforcement partners and maintain the public’s safety,” DPS said. “The department is committed to proactively protecting the people and property of Texas.”

Students at a growing number of U.S. colleges and universities are forming anti-Israel protest encampments on campus in a unified demand that their schools divest from Israel.

However, university officials at UT stated that the protest was not authorized. Multiple arrests have been made, with one radical left agitator throwing poop at police.

The protests began with more than 100 students at Columbia University in New York City and have spread from Massachusetts to California and Tennessee to Texas.
