Ministry of Bull: White House Takes Gaslighting to New Level

It's a tradition as old as the White House. Every presidential administration tries to shape the public narrative to support its policies. But the Biden administration seems to have taken this practice from shaping the narrative to creating an alternate reality. It is what some critics call the Ministry of BS. President Biden has blamed Donald Trump for the border crisis and high inflation, and told Americans that white supremacy is the greatest security threat facing our country. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has blamed climate change for illegal immigration while insisting the southern border is secure. And probably the biggest whopper of all: Bidenomics is working. "This is gaslighting with kerosene and a blowtorch," says media analyst Joe Concha in a recent interview with Fox Business.

Concha argues the economic gaslighting is the most egregious, as the issue directly impacts the lives of all Americans. "The Wall Street Journal reported that since 2019, food prices are up nearly 40 percent," he says. "That's something people feel on a daily basis."

"We have people living paycheck to paycheck, and then when food prices go up, and gas prices go up, and rents go up, and interest rates are still too high...that's something that can't be unspun even by the best advisors or the president's campaign team," Concha continues.

And perhaps they've learned that lesson. After months of trying to convince Americans that the economy is better than it seems, the administration has finally given up on trying to sell Bidenomics. "(Some of his advisors) said stop doing this, in terms of saying Bidenomics is great, and the economy is going so well, and Americans who feel differently about this at home just don't know better," says Concha.
