Donald Trump is appealing the ruling allowing Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to oversee his Georgia election interference case.
Trump's legal team wants Willis to be taken off the case, arguing her romantic relationship with her special prosecutor Nathan Wade caused a conflict of interest.
The judge in the case ruled earlier this month that Willis could stay on the case if Wade stepped down. Wade then stepped down later that day.
Trump is facing charges in the state for his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
