Ken Paxton Gets Blocked From Obtaining Records On Illegals By El Paso Judge

A liberal judge in El Paso is blocking Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton from obtaining records on illegals who are allegedly being housed at a shelter.

The Democrat Judge, Francisco Dominguez called into question Paxton's motivations behind the request.

"The emotions that surround this case in particular, are especially heated" said former immigration judge Art Arthur, now with the Center for Immigration Studies, "El Paso, it is probably a lot more liberal and liberal minded toward the administration's immigration policies."

The shelter that is allegedly harboring the illegals is called 'Annunciation House', a Catholic non-profit that serves several illegals in the El Paso Area.

"There are laws that prohibit even private organizations, from sheltering, transporting, and assisting in the smuggling of aliens into the United States" noted Arthur.

But the big bucks have become a big business for NGO's, and now the AG's office is trying to crackdown.

"What's going to happen next is that this case is going to continue" Arthur told KTRH, "And Texas is going to attempt to further develop it's claims, with respect to Annunciation House."

The judge also stated in his order that he will schedule a separate hearing for motions that were brought forth by Paxton's office.
