A Harris County agency is offering assistance to 20-thousand families who are financially struggling because of the pandemic.
Harris County Recovery Assistance will provide one-time payments of $1,500 to families who haven't yet economically recovered.
Distressed families can use the money for rent, mortgage, groceries, utilities, transportation, health care, child care, or any other urgent expense.
The federally funded 30-million-dollar relief fund will be accepting applications from July 28th - that's this Wednesday - through August 11th.
