Southwest Airlines Returns To Bush Airport

Southwest Airlines announces they are returning service to Bush Intercontinental Airport in early 2021.

Southwest had flown out of Bush in the past, but in 2005 moved their Houston hub exclusively to Hobby Airport.

As airlines struggle with coaxing passengers to return during the Covid pandemic and the airline’s pilots union is fighting a proposed pay cut the company is looking for a new direction going forward

Southwest is also adding a new service to O’Hare Airport in Chicago.
