Is the latest COVID surge real?

If you've watched the mainstream media then you've probably heard about a new 'surge' in COVID-19. Is it real or fake news?

The mainstream media likes to throw maps out there; color coded ones that they claim show cases are rising in 39 states. Brian Joondeph at the American Thinker says something fishy is going on.

"It's in positive tests, not necessarily a positive cases. They are manufacturing a surge to sell fear and uncertainty in the electorate," Joondeph said.

Joondeph says positive tests are one thing. Cases of COVID-19 are not just positive tests.

"The CDC has a case definition. That requires a positive test and symptoms," Joondeph stated.

In other words, just because you test positive for the virus doesn't mean you're sick. And it doesn't constitute a case in the eyes of the CDC.
