Some actually sank into Lake Travis.The Travis County Sheriff's Office responded to many of the boats in distress.The Sheriff's Office said it is difficult to count the boats involved or the people who needed rescue because many other boaters helped them before the First Responders arrived on the scene.
The Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services says there were no personal injuries.The boat parade route included Paradise Cove, West Beach, and Point Venture.
