Many events and trips are being canceled due to the coronavirus scare. Authorities in the Austin area felt it would be dangerous to hold the annual festival South by Southwest,, and canceled this year's mega event. Popular Austin hospitality businesses and festival vendors are out of luck and out of income they were counting on.
One such business is Round Rock cookie maker Wunderkeks. They made 25,000 cookies for a SXSW event that was cancelled. What do you do with thousands of cookies that have limited shelf life? Wunderkeks staff is going to social media, selling them at a discount and shipping them for free!
