There are more young Texans registering to vote, but will they show up and actually vote?
In Texas, we have seen this happening more with young Hispanic voters registering. Matthew Wilson at SMU says just registering them isn't enough.
"If you get that done, then the question is motivation and mobilization," Wilson stated.
And Wilson says that motivation and mobilization depends on who their preferred candidate is.
"If it's Sanders, motivation will be very high. If it's another candidate, I don't foresee the same level of excitement," Wilson explained.
In fact, some think Democrats would risk burning the party down to move Sanders off the ticket.
