Two people are dead and another person is critically injured after a shooting at a church in White Settlement, just west of Fort Worth in Tarrant County. It happened mid-morning Sunday (12-29-2019) at the West Freeway Church of Christ on Las Vegas Trail. According to a witness, during communion the shooter approached a server and opened fire. Some congregants were armed and rushed the shooter as others went under their pews. One person was dead while still at the church, the other died while being transported to the hospital. Police have confirmed one of the dead is the shooter and one witness told reporters the other dead victim is the security guard. Police also confirm that the shooter was down when they arrived at the church.
