Bush 41's Houston Office Closes Its Doors

(Houston, TX) -- The Houston office of former President George H.W. Bush is now closed down, but will soon be serving another purpose. Bush and his staff had an office for years in a building on Memorial Drive near Chimney Rock. It contained mementos and artifacts from his terms as vice-president under Ronald Reagan, and his own presidency that followed.

The office closed its doors for the last time on Friday, but a spokesman says it will serve as the Houston satellite office for the Bush Presidential Library in College Station.
